Writing Sequels: 7 Rules for Writing Second Installments
Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. I love him so much. We get it. His eyes are forest-green, enough. The same thing was done in DLU too.

This got me so pumped for the series in general and I cannot wait for book 3! View all 4 comments. Mar 15, Jen rated it it was amazing. Moffy and Jane had to deal with a pretty bad rumor at the end of the last book. In this book, several of the cousins ban together with Jane and Moffy to do a tour across the country in the hopes of diverting the attention of the public and letting that rumor die.
And of course, the security team tags along with them, becoming famous 4. And of course, the security team tags along with them, becoming famous themselves in their own way.
The Ritchie twins really know how to write stories that pull you in and make you feel like part of the group. I want more of Jane and Thatcher. Nov 10, Wil Loves Books! And naturally I want more, more, so much more. Give me all the books KB!!! I want all the stories. How on earth am I going to wait for the next book? This is Book 2 of 3.
Marrow Forever So I usually make detailed reviews with developed points and reasons for when I have too many thoughts about a book, but I honestly, truly feel like this book doesn't deserve my time and effort placed in such a long review, so this will be a bit simpler than usual. With my review for the previous book I tried not to be so harsh and more open at believing it could improve, even if it was just a little bit, especially because something similar happened to me when I started Addicted Series. However, So I usually make detailed reviews with developed points and reasons for when I have too many thoughts about a book, but I honestly, truly feel like this book doesn't deserve my time and effort placed in such a long review, so this will be a bit simpler than usual.
However, since the same unbearable nonsense kept going, I've just decided to stop sugar-coating stuff and be straight up honest about it, cutting to the chase. Not to mention this "representation" of bodyguard tropes and "famous people" which is so far-fetched I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at it.
Please note the sarcasm in this affirmation. I really don't want to engage into analyzing and criticizing this even more bc it could take me forever, and it would just be wasted time, but honestly if you want to read a good book about a bodyguard trope, go read Royally Endowed by Emma Chase, which actually makes sense and deals with the bodyguard definition in a more realistic way. Plus you'll find an actual connection between the protagonists and an actual plot.
Everything this book lacks. Nov 01, Karen rated it did not like it Shelves: favorite-boys , lgbtq , one-star , poc-characters.
And this might seem like an exaggeration but sadly, it really isn't. What did happened was that the protagonists, somehow, got even more annoying and self-entitled and considering the first book, that's an accomplishment alright. And the bodyguards How do I say this without calling it bullshit? I just don't get it. This has been an issue for me since forever, reading the previous series and now this one, I cannot grasp the idea of these group of people being THIS famous.
It does not make sense even within the story's context, and the story context is that these characters live in a world where people are incredibly stupid and futile, everyone that are not the characters cannot be trusted, cannot be good people, want to tear them down for no reasons, are assholes or desperate teenagers that love celebrities, etc, etc And I ask myself, how many times can we be introduced to a character outside of the main group that will, if not immediately, eventually turn into a type of scumbag? Apparently, the whole world sucks and everyone that is not our own sucks with it.
I know. And the sad thing is that the story has entertaining characters that are stuck in a terrible plot.
Kids Classic Books
It feels a lot like when you're watching a tv show that has derailed in quality but you can't make yourself drop it because you love that character or that one ship. This is me with Charlie Cobalt.
I'm reading this for him and I will keep doing it so, but damn is it hard. So fucking hard.
He's worth it though, so I keep reading, laughing it off and thinking lol. View all 13 comments. Me for the next week Yep, definitely through the new year. I do this to myself every damn time. Lily and Lo are my favorites and now Maximoff and Me for the next week Lily and Lo are my favorites and now Maximoff and Farrow are my favorites. Wait, Connor Cobalt is my absolute favorite. Hell, they are all my favorites! It certainly feels real every time I hit refesh at midnight on release day and promptly pull an all-nighter.
And I love them all. Even the new guys, the SFO bodyguards, are making me feel like part of the family. Like I personally know these people and what they are going through. For 12 all-nighters, I have laughed, and cried, and swooned, and smiled ridiculously for hours on end while reading and living these amazing characters. Please never stop.
View all 5 comments. Re-read: Granted, this book isn't the best, but you get to see the couple get immensely closer; they get a powerful bond. And it only gets stronger. I'm practically giddy to read next one even though I've already read it. The garden explodes with buzzing.
Pinging notifications. Texts and calls. Our own universe. No one can have it. No one can break it. This moment Re-read: This moment belongs to us.
They are out to their family, but still have to continue keeping their relationship a secret to the outside world. Being on tour, doesn't exactly make it easier, specially not with all the sexual frustrations and the stronger, deeper connection that is forming between them. Overall, the story was a tiny bit better than the first one , however, I just wanted more action. I keep looking - wanting - for something , yet I'm not getting it. Let's hope book 3 will give it to me Too bad we have to fucking wait for it.
